Edenhall

The Luck of Edenhall is a drinking glass made over 600 years ago in the Middle East. This exotic object was acquired by the Musgraves of Edenhall in the 17th century and it was believed to have supernatural qualities. One legend told of it being a fairy cup, and the fairies who abandoned it called out "If this cup should break or fall, Farewell the luck of Edenhall". To find out more, visit https://www.vam.ac.uk/articles/the-luck-of-edenhall
