New: Regional Heritage Centre

The VCH Cumbria project is now part of the new Regional Heritage Centre within Lancaster University’s History Department. The new Centre had been established in order to develop the University's activities in engaging with the regional community in the field of cultural heritage.
18 March 2010. HLF Application rejected

Our first HLF application has been turned down – but the Trust is in a good financial position to continue with the work which has already started. Our Project Plan appears below.
